Scientific Name – Dieffenbachia
Toxicity Rate – Moderate
Symptoms – Oral irritation and burning, excessive salivation, vomiting.
Reason For Toxicity – Leaves of this Plant contain Raphides (needle-like calcium oxalate crystals) that are injurious when ingested.


Scientific Name – Spathiphyllum
Toxicity Rate – Mild
Symptoms – Severe burning in the mouth, salivation.
Reasons For Toxicity – Contains Insoluble Calcium oxalate crystals that interfere with                                             Blood Calcium Levels and lead to renal failure.


Scientific Name – Cyclamen
Toxicity Rate – Strong (Might be Dangerous)
Symptoms –  Diarrhea, vomiting, Saliva, Ingesting large amounts can cause seizures and Death.
Reason Of Toxicity – Contains irritating Terpenoid Saponins which when swallowed results in many health issues.


Scientific Name – Aloe Vera
Toxicity Rate – Mild to Moderate
Symptoms –  Vomiting, Diarrhea, Lethargy, Depression, Anorexia, Tremor, Change  in the color of Urine
Reason For Toxicity – This Plant contains Anthraquinone Glycosides which encourage Bowel movements when it is Consumed.

Toxicity Rate – Moderate
Symptoms –  Vomiting, pain, and swelling of the mouth Burning in the mouth, tongue, and lips, excessive salivation, difficulty in swallowing.
Reasons Of Toxicity – Leaves of this Plant contain Calcium Oxalate Crystals which results in an irritated gastrointestinal tract.


Scientific Name –  Zamioculcas
Toxicity Rate – Mild
Symptoms –  Burning in the mouth, Irritation   
Reasons For Toxicity – This Plant produces Calcium Oxalates which are actually a serious Irritant internally & externally.                  


Scientific Name –  Cycas revoluta
Toxicity Rate – Severe
Symptoms –  Vomiting, increased thirst, hemorrhagic enteritis, bruising, coagulopathy, liver damage, liver failure, death.
Reasons For Toxicity – The Seeds of this Plant are more toxic when consumed as they contain toxins called Cyasin, which attacks the liver.

Reasons of Toxicity – Contains Enzyme called ficin and compounds such as Psoralen that directly attack DNA. 

So, mentioned above are some of those plants which we can say are not at all good for our dear Pets and hence should be kept away from them in order to maintain  their Safety..
